Ohmni’s batteries have different lifespans depending on the version of your robot. Please see the table below to determine our average charging and discharging rates for your unit.
Model | Discharge rate (on standby) | Discharge rate (in-call) |
Charge time (on standby) |
Charge time (powered off) |
Ohmni - 12th Gen | 8-10 hours | 4-6 hours | 16 hours | 6 hours |
Ohmni - 13th Gen | 8-10 hours | 4-5 hours | 16 hours | 6 hours |
Ohmni Pro | 6-8 hours | 3-4 hours | 16 hours | 6 hours |
*Important Note: When external devices are plugged into the Ohmni, expect a longer charging time when turned on, and overall shorter discharge rate.
For Ohmni Robots (Generation 12), with the Collision Detection Kit, users can expect shorter discharge rate, to the range of 3 - 4 hours when in-call and 6-8 on standby.*
We recommend leaving Ohmni turned on and docked at its charging station so it will always be ready for your next call. To make this process easier Ohmni has a built-in auto-docking feature, please see “Does Ohmni dock itself?” article here.
If your Ohmni is left powered on and disconnected from the charging dock for over an hour, it will go to sleep to conserve battery; read more here.
