How do I take a 4K Snapshot on my Ohmni Supercam?

One of the great features native to the Ohmni Supercam is the ability to take a 4K, 13-megapixel Snapshot image of the environment when more granular detail is needed. Having a 13-megapixel snapshot allows you to zoom in and read text or see details that you wouldn't normally see through the live camera feed.

When you are ready to give this feature a try check out the steps below!

Note: This feature is only available on the Ohmni Supercam, or Ohmni Developer Edition with a Supercam upgrade.

Step 1: 

Locate some detail, text, or image in the environment that you would like a closer view of and bring it into the center of the frame for the best results. 

As you can see in the image below, most of the text on the TV screen is illegible, so I have centered it in my view in preparation for taking a snapshot.
 

Step 2:

When you are centered and ready to take a Snapshot. Locate the camera icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3:

Click the camera icon, and wait until the Snapshot status indication in the middle of the screen reads 100%

Step 4:

Shortly after the Snapshot status indicator reads 100%, the 13-megapixel image will download to your device.

Depending on your browsers settings, there may be a few different places the file saves.
In a Google Chrome browser, you can check your default setting by visiting chrome://settings/ and scrolling down to the advanced settings. Chrome files usually default to your downloads folder.

In a Safari browser, you can click on the "Safari" tab in the upper right-hand corner and then select "Preferences." In the "General Settings" menu the "File download location:" will be displayed. Safari files also usually default to your downloads folder. 

Step 5: 

Once the image saves in the default location of your device, you can locate that file and open it at any time you want! Today, tomorrow, three years from now, even; given you still have the device or file. You will also gain the ability to zoom into the view of the environment to begin to read text or see details there weren't visible before. 

In the image below you can see that we can now read all of the text that was displayed on the TV screen, and we can even zoom in farther if we needed.
