Creating Share Links

Share links are clickable URLs that can be shared to any person to call into Ohmni without a login. It is typically used for sharing Ohmni access outside of the organization without the hassle of having to create accounts. 

A share link can be time based, recurring or permanent. When a link is active, going to the link URL will immediately call into the associated Ohmni. For calls that use share links, the link URL will show up instead of a username in the call logs. Timed share links will give a 3-minute notification prior to automatically ending the call with an Ohmni Robot.

 

Calendar

Created links show up under a calendar by clicking on SHARE LINKS from the side menu. The calendar is split into 3 sections:

1. MONTHLY SCHEDULE displays links scheduled within 30 days.
2. LONG TERM SCHEDULE displays links spanning more than 30 days.
3. PERMANENT LINKS lists all the links that are active all the time. 

Creating Share Links From Calendar

• Click on SHARE LINKS from the side menu
• On MONTHLY SCHEDULE,
  • Click on the desired start day
  • Click or drag across the desired time range for the specific robot
  • Name the link by setting TITLE
  • Click CONFIRM
• On LONG TERM SCHEDULE or PERMANENT LINKS
  • Click CREATE SHARE LINK
  • Enter details and click CONFIRM

Creating Share Links From Robot Details Page

• Click on OHMNI ROBOTS from the side menu
• Click the gear icon beside a robot to go to the details page
• Scroll to SHARE LINKS
• Click CREATE SHARE LINK
• Click MANAGE 
• Enter a label under TITLE
• Enter START and END TIME
• Enter the Repeat details
  • For permanent links, check FOREVER
• Click UPDATE
• Click CREATE SHARE LINK

Edit or Remove an Existing Share Link from Calendar

• Click on SHARE LINKS from the side menu
• On MONTHLY SCHEDULE,
  
  • Click on the desired SHARE LINK
  • Edit details and press UPDATE
  • To delete, press DELETE
• On LONG TERM SCHEDULE or PERMANENT LINKS
  • Click on the desired SHARE LINK
  • To edit, go to Robot Details page and select MANAGE
  • To delete, check the box by the link and press REMOVE

Edit an Existing Share Link From Robot Details Page

• Click on OHMNI ROBOTS from the side menu
• Click the gear icon beside a robot to go to the details page
• Scroll to SHARE LINKS,
  • Click on MANAGE next to the desired SHARE LINK
  • Edit details and press UPDATE.
  • To delete, select the link and press REMOVE.

Find and Share an Existing Share Link URL

• Click on OHMNI ROBOTS from the side menu
• Click the gear icon beside the specific robot to go to the details page
• Scroll to SHARE LINKS
• Click the desired Share Link URL to copy to clipboard
  • Send the Share Link URL through a preferred communication channel.
