As part of the effort to continuously deliver improvements to the Ohmni platform experience, we need to change the way user accounts are implemented. Part of this change will affect the way your accounts are currently provisioned in the system.
As of February 1, 2021, all new accounts have been invited as a "User" to the Ohmni WebApp, and one "Owner" is designated for each robot. You are receiving this email because you have multiple Owners assigned to your Ohmni robots. Starting August 1, 2021, we will require every robot to have one single Owner as per the current user management model.
What do I need to do?
If you are a robot administrator:
- Go to your robot’s settings from the Ohmni WebApp at app.ohmnilabs.com.
- Set all other accounts to the "User" role. Do this for all robots under your management in the same organization.
If you would like to be a robot user:
- If available, go to your robot's settings from the Ohmni WebApp at app.ohmnilabs.com.
- Set yourself to the "User" role. If robot settings are unavailable, then you are already in the "User" role and no action is required.
What if I need multiple robot "Owners"?
Please send an email to support@ohmnilabs.com and we will inform you of the available options.
What if I want to transfer my "Owner" role?
In case of any error made during the above process, Owner privileges can be transferred using the instructions in this guide. For other inquiries, reach out to support@ohmnilabs.com.
Please make this change in the next 30 days. After the 30 day period, your robots will automatically be assigned a robot owner from the first available account.
