Ohmni SuperZoom allows users to see more granular detail of anything in the environment they are navigating. When SuperZoom gives users the ability to zoom live in the call with lossless quality.
Remember that if you need to save the content that you are viewing you also have access to the Ohmni Snapshot feature. You can read more about this feature in this article: How do I take a 4K Snapshot on my Ohmni Supercam?.
When you are ready to give Ohmni SuperZoom a try take a look at the steps below.
*Notes: SuperZoom is only available on Ohmni Supercam and Ohmni Developer Editions with the Supercam upgrade that is running OhmniOS versions 4.0.8 and above.
Step 1:
Locate a portion of the environment where you would like to see more detail. The example below is a TV displaying text, and as you can see, the text is entirely illegible. Even if I were to drive closer to the screen, the text likely wouldn't become clearer.
Step 2:
Once you have the located the area where you would like to see more detail. Locate the magnifying glass icon in your Ohmni's toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3:
Selecting "2x" will make the object in the middle of the frame two times larger using the 1080p supersampled 4K camera frames.
As we can see below, the text on the screen is not becoming legible. We can read the title, though some of the body text is still a little hard to read.
*Keep in mind, the final image quality of the live stream will be dependent on the network strength. It may not always be the full 1080p image. If a full HD image or better quality is needed, please take a snapshot.
Step 4:
Selecting "3x" will make the object in the middle of the frame three times larger using the 1080p supersampled 4K camera frames.
At three times zoom, we can now read the headings and the body text of the image. Using the tilting of the camera, we could even scroll down the page and read the full article.
*Keep in mind, the final image quality of the live stream will be dependent on the network strength. It may not always be the full 1080p image. If a full HD image or better quality is needed, please take a snapshot.
